Major Duties:
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable enterprise test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, unit, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead large-scale automated test execution across multiple applications and environments, including scheduled, release, deployment, and code-promotion validation.
- Improve test automation resiliency by identifying and eliminating flaky tests, intermittent failures, synchronization issues, dependency failures, test-data issues, environment instability, and configuration-related failures.
- Troubleshoot and fix, refactor, and optimize existing automation scripts , improving reliability, maintainability, execution speed, error handling, recovery, and reusability.
- Analyze execution failures to distinguish application defects from automation, environment, data, access, configuration, and infrastructure issues , and drive sustainable root-cause fixes.
- Build automation capable of reliable repeatable and unattended enterprise execution , with effective logging, reporting, failure diagnostics, rerun/recovery mechanisms, and execution monitoring.
- Validate code promotions, releases, deployments, and application/platform changes across development, test, staging, and production environments.
- Integrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or comparable technologies.
- Apply GitHub Copilot, Generative AI, and AI-assisted testing for test creation, code improvement, failure analysis, automation maintenance, and engineering productivity.
- Provide technical leadership through automation architecture, coding standards, code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10-13 years of relevant experience in Java test automation and SDLC release management , preferable in financial domain services.
- Strong expertise in DevOps.
- Holds Bachelor's or equivalent degree.
Shift: APAC: 10:00AM to 7:00PM IST
