What You’ll Do

- Define AI Delivery Strategy: Establish the overarching framework for integrating GenAI into the SDLC, from automated code generation and testing to AI-augmented CI/CD pipelines.

- Architect Enterprise AI Systems: Lead the design of agentic workflows (LangGraph/CrewAI) and semantic layers that bridge the gap between raw data and actionable business intelligence.

- Scale Cloud-Native Foundations: Set the standards for high-scale architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring serverless (Lambda) and containerized (Kubernetes) environments are optimized for AI workloads.

- Build & Lead Engineering Culture: Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class team of engineers. Foster a culture of "AI-first" thinking, ensuring code excellence and rapid iterative delivery.

- Govern Technical Standards: Define the "North Star" for development—enforcing data engineering best practices, security compliance, and robust observability (Langfuse, CloudWatch).

- Strategic Cross-Functional Leadership: Bridge the gap between Product, Design, and Executive leadership to ensure our AI roadmap translates into high-impact market features.

- Optimize Delivery Velocity: Implement and refine Agile/Scrum methodologies enhanced by AI-driven metrics to improve predictability and time-to-market. What You Bring

- 12+ Years of Engineering Excellence: A proven track record of building and scaling production-grade enterprise solutions, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director or VP).

- Expertise in AI Orchestration: Deep understanding of the modern AI stack—specifically LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, and AWS Bedrock —and how to deploy them at scale.

- Mastery of Modern Architectures: Proficiency in event-driven microservices, serverless patterns, and specialized databases (Vector/Semantic, NoSQL, RDBMS).

- Deep Cloud Knowledge: Extensive experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid environments with a focus on security, IAM, and global scalability.

- Full-Stack Fluency: While you’re in a leadership role, you maintain a "builder" mindset with a deep understanding of Python (Django), TypeScript (React), and modern API design (GraphQL/REST).

- Operational Rigor: Experience managing DevOps, SRE, and security compliance (SOC2, HIPAA) in a continuous delivery environment.

- Communication Mastery: The ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into strategic business value for stakeholders and investors. Bonus Points

- Life Sciences & Pharma Background: Experience building GxP-compliant software or AI-based platforms for pharmaceutical field teams.

- Salesforce and Veeva Integration

- Agentic AI Pioneer: Proven experience shipping autonomous AI agents or complex RAG systems to production.

- Open Source Leadership: Significant contributions to the AI or Cloud-Native community.

- Advanced Degree: MS in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
