We are currently seeking a Manager Software Engineer for Economics and Intelligence within the BMI group. You will own end-to-end delivery of engineering projects for some of our analytics and BI solutions that leverage Mastercard dataset combined with proprietary analytics techniques, to help businesses around the world solve multi-million-dollar business problems.

The Economic Intelligence (EI) is Mastercard's strategic analytics program that combines economic, market, consumer, merchant, and location intelligence into a unified platform. By leveraging shared data, AI, APIs, and advanced analytics, EI enables customers to make faster, smarter, and more actionable business decisions at scale.

Technical Management Responsibilities • Provide technical guidance and expertise. • Define technical strategy and align with business goals. • Oversee architecture and system design decisions. • Review and improve code, designs, or deliverables. • Ensure quality standards, security, and best practices. • Manage technical debt and prioritize improvements. • Stay updated on new tools, frameworks, and trends. • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.

All About You • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience, with a proven track-record of successfully delivering on complex technical assignments.

• A solid foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, web applications and microservices-based • Strong communication and conflict resolution. • Project and stakeholder management. • React.js development expertise. • .NET framework and application development. • AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.). • Database : SQL , Oracle , Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, MapReduce ). • Apache Spark for distributed data processing. • AWS Data Bricks • SQL-based analytics on big data. • Software architecture and system design. • Agile/Scrum methodologies. • CI/CD, DevOps practices, and automation.

Overall Experience: 10 to 15 years.
