 OVERVIEW

- This role has overall accountabilities for Digital and Technology infrastructure for offices, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers within India. This function is responsible for ensuring execution of Global Infrastructure strategies and plans within India and broader global GMI locations.
- Engaging leadership in working with key business partners, Solution Managers, D&T teams and Vendors. This position is critical for supporting global and regional projects/initiatives and day to day operations in alignment with GMI standards and best practices. This role also plays a key role in navigating and connecting India teams and resources with critical global infrastructure needs.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accountable for second level support for end user support including audio visual services.
- Good understanding of asset life cycle management from purchase to disposal.
- Knowledgeable in preparing & reviewing BOQ for AV requirements and upgrades.
- Experienced in managing data center/server rooms for various upgrades and health-checks along with knowledge on network cabling (active & passive cabling).
- Analyzing spending vs budget trend and sharing forecast related to upcoming spends and working with finance team as well as stakeholders.
- Experience in managing multiple vendors and partners for various support and services
- Coordinating with different teams within IT like networks, servers, VOIP & other functions as appropriate.
- Managing & supporting Sr Mgmt. and VIP users for their IT requirements and issues.
- Engaging with global stakeholders to determine upcoming changes and implementations.
- Prepare reports and team dashboards.
- Involvement in escalation from users and support groups to provide appropriate solutions.
- Responsible for DR as part of overall BCP.
- Experience in handling & managing end to end projects that includes defining scope, planning, scheduling, execution & documentation.
- Knowledge on IT Audit and its scope, requirement & fulfillment by following defined processes.
- Willing to work after hours and on weekends as needed, and to provide on-call support on a rotating basis
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Full-time graduation from an accredited university
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant work experience
- Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure with foundational certifications
- Experience working with high availability & disaster recovery, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexible, reliable, can take initiative, can deal with responsibility, and have a "can do" mentality.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in consumer food industry considered is a plus
- Agile Certifications
