Job Title – Director, Engineering Manager – AI/ML

The Purpose of Your Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead delivery of AI/ML-driven applications and platforms, including Java/Python-based systems with user interfaces and cloud-native deployments. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery, spanning application development, machine learning platforms, and Generative AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on execution discipline, scalability, and reliability.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

- 15+ years of engineering experience including people management

- Strong Experience delivering AI/ML and Generative AI solutions is a MUST requirement .

- Driving AI/ML initiatives by aligning with engineering goals

- Working with Data Scientists and AI/ML Architects in driving solutions

- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development

- Experience building and deploying applications on AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes

- Experience with AWS SageMaker and managing ML platforms and model lifecycle

- Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, APIs, and UI-driven applications

- Experience leading teams in structured or hybrid delivery models is a MUST requirement.

- Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization

The Skills that are Key to this role

- Manage and mentor resources to meet the chapter KPIs and upskilling of the associates

- Mentor software engineers on the team and ensure high stability and avoid SME gaps.

- Help and drive discussion to build technology roadmap for chapter.

- Work with product management on refining and implementation of the roadmap.

- Experience leading teams in structured or hybrid delivery models

- Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization

- Establish and enforce strong engineering and operational standards

- Own technology lifecycle management, including remediation and ensuring ongoing platform stability
