Job Summary Synechron is seeking an Ab Initio Developer with strong experience in software development, technology leadership, solution delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. The role involves applying knowledge of software systems, data structures, database management, cloud infrastructure, software architecture, and Agile delivery practices to support technology initiatives. The successful candidate will lead and manage cross-functional technology teams, translate business requirements into technology solutions, guide technical implementation, evaluate emerging technologies, and support the delivery of scalable and maintainable data-oriented solutions. The role contributes to business objectives by improving technology delivery, supporting informed technical decisions, increasing operational efficiency, and aligning technology initiatives with organizational strategy.

Software Requirements

Required Software Skills

- Ab Initio: Experience developing, maintaining, supporting, or enhancing Ab Initio-based data and software solutions relevant to the assigned Synechron project.

- Software systems: In-depth understanding of various technologies, software systems, integrations, dependencies, and development practices.

- Project-management tools: Familiarity with tools used for project planning, task management, reporting, collaboration, risk tracking, and delivery governance.

- Agile methodologies: Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and iterative software delivery practices.

- Software architecture: Understanding of software architecture principles, system design, integration patterns, reusable components, and design patterns.

- Cloud computing: Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure, including deployment, scalability, availability, security, and operational considerations.

- Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams involved in software development, data solutions, and technology initiatives.

- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, delivery support, and implementation direction to team members.

- Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful delivery of projects within agreed scope, quality, timeline, and resource expectations.

- Develop, maintain, support, and enhance Ab Initio-based solutions where applicable to project requirements.

- Apply knowledge of software architecture, data structures, database systems, cloud infrastructure, and design patterns to technology solutions.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency, quality, reliability, and delivery transparency.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technology solutions.

- Develop technical specifications, implementation plans, solution documentation, technical roadmaps, and delivery recommendations.

- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on business value, technical suitability, security, maintainability, sustainability, and operational impact.

- Develop and maintain technology roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall business strategy.

- Work with delivery teams to manage project milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, quality expectations, and technical decisions.
